reporting posts in competitions

Guys we keep a close eye on competition threads, there is no need to report users within them they are already being watched. thanks.

Good luck watching anything through Twinn's ridiculous pukeposting.

Mutiple entries on a skill based one is nice for those with more than one good choice, but it will be a travesty if that jerk wins. Post count appears to be composed entirely of entries!

I gave I'm a red somewhere around 2900+

Certainly, one rule which needs to be added, is "only one prize per person", otherwise the abusers could walk away with 2 or 3 each.

Ok, I really want to win this prize, what do you suggest me to do?
I'm not doing anything against the rules, if you want to keep people from spamming, just take off the "Multiple Entries Allowed", or change the contest way to pick the winners to something not random.
If you want to add a "only one prize per person" rule, that is fine for me.

I have never reported a post on a contest thread sure the staff here has it under control

I just watch for SPAM posts I have a feel for it and thats why Adrian made me Mod on ARP. The report post button is very helpful to staff here but should be used with good judgment as well

My thought I don't think it's fair to have posted count rap up like that my posted count is hard earn posted count not spam. I don't think it's fair for others ramp up there posted count for the contest for 3000 posted in one month. Allan Can you put posted count cap to 10 per entity that more fair

Who agrees? I don't think it's right have person have 3000 posted in one month when I have almost 5000 posted of helping people out it's just not fair. And it almost took me 7 years to do it by the hard way.

Who cares about beating other posted count. It doesn't matter. What matter about posted count it's about helping people posting question or subjects joining talkes like Offtopic forum or any others it's not about the contest. I think you two went over board abit.

I honestly don't care about the actual post count, they can delete the contest thread after picking the winners.

The problem isn't the posts count as it more of the contents of comments , I found most of them really useless just some random numbers to prevent duplicate post message. If someone wrote that amount of posts with something like slogan/funny statement it would be better, but I can't complain as the rules says "Add anything you want" with no hint like the past competitions

Its pretty simple. Catalyst Maker made the rules, and there is no limit on the amount of times you post in it as it states. That said, posting 15,000 times will certainly not make your chances any higher, especially when we know quite a few people in there are using posting bots to do the work for them.

The whole point of this was to create a good posting vibe and to get people making the effort in trying to win a few cool prizes, one of which is going to be a rare collectors items in years to come.
