Browser Gets Stuck in an Infinite Loop

When I click this link http://www.hardwareheaven.com/news/179...-0-0-49-a.html (it leads to a news thread), regardless of which browser I use (FF 3.0.7, Opera 10 Alpha, IE7), it gets stuck in an infinite loop until it finally gives up. It happens both when I try to access the thread from the front page and from the news sub-forum. Other threads open normally, but I recently had a similar problem with another one (I think it was also in the News section).

Re: Browser Gets Stuck in an Infinite Loop

Just to let you know i have the same problem.. This very same issue has happened in the past with a couple of articles i have posted.

The only fix was to Delete the thread and simply ignore it.As i also can't open the thread i cant tell if the link is the problem..

For now the link is soft-Deleted.

Re: Browser Gets Stuck in an Infinite Loop

Too many redirects occurred trying to open “http://www.hardwareheaven.com/news/179...0-0-49-a.html”. This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page.

An error in the posting. as its deleted the issue will not occur for anyone.

Re: Browser Gets Stuck in an Infinite Loop

That doesn't make any sense because it was posted no differently than any other post I have done. There weren't additional redirects in the post. However, I tried it again as a test and it didn't work again. Deleted the new thread.

Once again weird cuz MG is used often.

Re: Browser Gets Stuck in an Infinite Loop

Only thing I can think of us the use of the squared character, causing an issue with the url rewriting software.
