sorry for the double post in the offtopic and the feedback but I wanted to make sure alot of people saw this thread ......

I wanted to say how happy I am with the growth of the forum, its had over 40 million hits since it was opened on 1 may 2002, and we have over 10,000 posts and over 700 registered members, since we opened we have redesigned the forum a few times, to make it easier and faster to navigate, along with a nice facelift or two.

the server has also been moved to a faster P3 apache machine with 3.6 gig of ram to ensure its responsive, nothing worse than waiting on a page to load.

I hope you are all enjoying the information, debate here and are hopefully making some new friends online, and will continue to stay with us here as we expand and grow.

if you have any comments about the forum, improvements, complaints etc, feel free to post them in here, or email myself at zardon@driverheaven.net.

Andrew will handle your technical forum questions if you have any in here, and he can also be reached via email at andrew275@driverheaven.net

in the future we may also add a frontpage with news and driver links etc, to make it more a fully fledged site, but we dont want to make a half hearted botched job of this, so it maybe a little while in coming. Cyborg and myself are working on this between other projects, hopefully it will happen sometime.

occasionally I will also be giving out an email addy with yourname@driverheaven.net for those members voted by others as the most productive member of driverheaven, this will be set up in a thread in the feedback forum from time to time.

I'm seriously thinking of starting a logo contest, we need one and I'll be damned if I can come up with one I like. (I know, me at loss for words? It happens.

) I keep trying to figure something out that lets people know what we're about in a sentance, but it's HARD! I'm shooting for something like "Where geeks can chat about their stuff without all that "brand bias bullshit" ('cept in fun) " but that doesn't really sound much like a logo.

Any objections if'n I offer a beta t-shirt to whoever can come up with a slogan for us? To be decided and voted on by all staff members? It might generate some fun for the non-technically inclined who hang here. (There are some, honest.

) I was going to offer one up for the 1300 member, but the damned member count is already increasing faster than I thought it would! (But that's a good thing, right?)

I think this place is great and is shaping up to be even better.
I followed you guys from the Rage3d board.
One thing I would love to see thou is and option for diffrent theme (style sheets).
I would really be in driver heaven (hee hee) if there was an option for an Orange them.
