Default Post The forum won't let me write anything

Blubb la la la ... I wrote a long text before, but then the forum said "your text is too short". That's right because the damn forum software DELETED every text I wrote.

I found the error: driverheaven.net is using some JavaScripts from yahooapis.com. Because I'm using NoScript only driverheaven.net was allowed to use JavaScript. So ... bad forum software. It indicates that I'm able to post using only originated Javascripts, but than "BAM" I can't. Have to allow yahooapis.com. You should improve that.

Now I'm going to rewrite my long text.

AW: The forum won't let me write anything

Sorry ... I was upset. It's not a nice way to start the first posting in this way. I apologise for my behaviour.

Re: The forum won't let me write anything

I had the same problem some time ago..
It's not that big a deal to allow yahooapis.com on DH.
You know it is safe to do so. And it will only allow it for this site.

Re: The forum won't let me write anything

The yahooapis.com javascripts are part of vBulletin, vbulletin can choose to host them locally on our server, or fetch them direct from yahoo which helps performance and also ensures we have the most up to date version of the scripts running, so we source them direct from Yahoo!

Sorry this has caused you inconvenience.

No need to apologize we all get frustrated and the important thing is you made your post.

Welcome to DH and read what Craig had to say above
