driverheaven speed

Is it just me, or is DH really slow today? I only ask because it's rare when pages don't load up instantly for me. I notice that on this reply page, the top banner ad is showing me "The page cannot be displayed"... does this indicate ad server problems again? Just wondering..

I just noticed it was going slow too- now it seems to be zipping right along..... hmmmmm.

Andrew is looking at the server atm, our loads are above normal, so atm we arent sure if there is a problem or its the LANMAN article being linked from other sites........

its been slow for at lest a week for me takeing no less than 5 seconds to load anything when usally its BAM!! there when i click ... especially notice it when submiting

err .. andrew is mucking with the site now ... mabe he's fixing it allready

EDIT: yep zardon i'll bet thats what it is .... becouse i am getting server busy messages erraticly

Well, from what I can tell, it's not being caused by the forums. I have no idea how many people are looking at that MML article.

it was only slow for a period of around 10-20 minutes when server loads went through the roof. as this server can handle quite alot of traffic we are putting it down to a temporary glitch or a DOS..... we will investigate further....

It is performing with the usual low load now, so everything should hopefully be back to normal.

Just to let you know- Over here on my end (US)- it is faster now than it has been in months. It hasn't been SLOW over the past few months, just not really fast. Now it is faster than ever. Whatever you guys did really worked!

BTW, i can host a few files on my site/server.... already got xp service pack 1 and sp4 for w2k..... i'm more for holding legal officials....

yeah forni I know, there is a delay when replying to a post or making a thread, something still isnt right on the changeover..... ive left andrew the info so hopefully he can look into it when he gets up........
