You should have already noticed we've changed our name! DriverHeaven.net is now HardwareHeaven.com.

We haven't been taken over, bought out or sold out. We simply feel this new name reflects what DH has become over the last 8 years. We are much more than the small driver support site we started out to be. Shortly the DriverHeaven domain will be redirected to HardwareHeaven, this will be a full redirect so any links/favourites etc will simply and seamlessly redirect to the correct page. If however you're having problems. getting 404's not being redirected properly etc, drop a message in here and let us know.

All feedback is welcomed. This name change has been in planning for a good while now, most of 2009 in fact, and it's not something we undertook lightly.

Wishing you all the best in 2010.

well, as much as it tugs at the heart strings to see driverheaven change names, it is the community that counts, along with the quality of content. also logical as 99% of peeps showing up are not looking for specific driver support.


also noticed, and liked, the new face of drivercleaner.net. Don't know if that changed with the new year as well, but looks fresh.

does any one have a screen cap of the original driverheaven.net forum oriented front page, before it changed to the portal? man I'd like to get a look at one, just to reminisce, lol

That said, I can see why, this site has become much more than the driver depository it once was when I first joined, so the new name is most certainly fitting.

Happy birthday, Double-H! The name doesn't matter much to me, "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet", so while I have become sort of attached to the old one, it's the site I really love and if you feel that the new name will be a better introduction to someone who came across the page for the first time, it's just as well. I'm just glad you haven't been taken over.

So far things seem to work without a hitch. It'd take a bit to get used to the name change, but I agree it's more in like with what the site is. Have to agree with SeraphicSorcerer, though, I expected something bigger.
