Now with that in mind, I can see how tasteful the monitor is! It's all relative!

Chain does seem overpriced.

This is probably the closest you will find. It's not exactly chrome and it is pretty overpriced but if you want an ugly case, this is the one.

On a more related note I'm not a fan of Sceptre's build quality/quality control. I have owned two of their 22" monitors - one was shot right out of the box and the second to replace it has been dicey ever since with a high pitched noise off and on along with flickering when it is first turned on.

Flashy, lame and probably poorly built.

Thanks you Optix. Unfortunately that case is a)impossible to find here, b)not chrome.

I can't speak for Spectre, I have never owned one since no one imports them in Europe AFAIK.

I have a Sceptre 20" to go with the 22" Asus. Yeah, the first 20" had a nasty 1/2" "scratch" of dead pixels. The second has been great now for about three years - accurate too.
