I was born in the same general area. Well I was born in the city of Saskatoon, that's still in Saskatchewan though but that's besides the point. The monitor is too shiny I mean it would fit if the theme for your abode was along the same lines (like black and silver/chrome) or 60s-70s or something but other than that it looks weird BlueMak. Seriously.

More of an LCD TV than a fully fledged monitor for PC's. With 2ms response and those viewing angles probably a TN panel too.

As a monitor - it isn't bad but there will be better options out there.

Did you ever find that chrome case you were looking for?

Considering the other Sceptre monitor coming out (27" 1080p + crazy color ratio) is only $399, I'm sure this one will probably cost only as much as the Asus monitors.

Gotta admit BlueMak i really can't say i like that Monitor, My room's usually in the dark but a lot of my peripherals and other gadgets in my room have LEDs that are on 24/7 and they'd end up shining off it and annoying me while i'm trying to sleep.

Plus it looks rather... fugly
