Image Links
I've noticed over the last few sessions that clicking on an image link no longer opens a new tab in my Firefox browser. After viewing the image, I now have to "Go Back...." in order to return to the forum.
Is this a change to the site, or has something changed with FF? |

Re: Image Links
Working OK here. Did you have any updates to add-ons you've got installed, or did you install any new ones?
In any case, it could be that the xorg.conf has changed somehow. What you can do is go into that file, and see what the browser.link.open settings are set to. To do this: - In the address bar type about:config - Next, in the "Filter" bar type in browser.link.open. You should see 2 listings: browser.link.open_newwindow and browser.link.open_newwindow.restriction. What you want is to have the first set to 3, and the second one set to 2 (which is the default for both) like so : browser.link.open_newwindow 3 (1 is same window, 2 is new window, 3 is new tab) browser.link.open_newwindow.restriction 2 Everything is immediate btw, and hopefully that will reset things. Edit: And if either are set to any number other than those I've listed it will say what the status is of the settings, such as user set or default. Once you change it to 3 and 2 it should say default.

Re: Image Links
Thank you!
But, doing what you suggested shows this.... ![]() I've changed nothing but there's an additional option showing up. EDIT: An example of a link I referred to is here... Unigine Heaven 2.1 DX 11 Benchmarks UPDATE: Things seem to be working properly now. Will keep an eye on it and report if any further attention is needed.

(Im on MyIE2)I can change it so it opens in the same window but more importantly: I CAN MAKE IT OPEN IN A NEW TAB ON SITES THAT DONT HAVE IT SET THAT WAY (Which is nice )

Re: Image Links
Hmm... never seen that one before: services.sync.prefs.sync.browser.link.open_newwind ow . Can't even find any information on it either.
In any case, I'm glad it's sorted.
