About reporting spam posts
Why can a spammer post every 30 seconds, yet I can only report a spam post every 60 seconds???

I'm sure there is a logical reason for this, but it is eluding me at the moment.

It's to prevent an old DOS attack using the spam reporting system. I don't think it's a limit I can change, unless I only allow everyone to post every 60seconds as well but that's mean.

Thanks reporting spam tho I do appreciate it. I'll go poke the mods and see where they are.

One report per spammer is probably enough anyway, unless he's using multiple accounts.

Now just after reading this i am just going to add that i do chip in with the spammers,And am pretty fast at spotting them.... When im online that is..

Its just that im in the uk many issues can occour due to the time difference..

And i can assure you that quite a few Spammers are banned way before it comes to the reporting system comes into play...

But it works great when we do miss the odd one for various reasons...

But any ways as it is for myself at the moment.. I not able to spend much time online at the moment...

I spent most of yesterday afternoon at the hospital..Back home late last night to grab some sleep before work for today... Just to go back tonight...

And this i more important at the moment,I thought i were going to lose my 78 year old Father...

Sorry that this is a touch off-topic...But im absolutely shattered...

Saturday night our family celebrated a 21 B-Day party... So i did not get home until 3.AM Sunday morning up at AM still recovering from the night before Extreme drinking session...

Just end up spending 7 hours at the hospital and a lack of sleep does not help... But have just returned from there now... Much Much more perky than he were last night..

As for the issues in this thread, i was heading to bed at the time the spamfest occured... too tired to look at HH at 3AM

You can change it by how many posts they have Craig!

People with under 10 posts for example have a 120 second wait while the rest of us have a 30 second wait.. (WHT has it setup like this (Not exactly the same allotment but you know what i mean))

Example: I have over 11k posts there and have a 30 second limit (New members i believe is 60 but im not sure)
