How about some type of quick reply. I've never messed with Deluxe Portal before but it looks cool. Quick reply would be really nice (me and other 56kers) you know.

I suppose its a way to reply to a thread without having to load it. Then again its just a guess

A couple of boxes at the bottom of the thread you're reading that are "Subject" & "Reply" in case you just have a quick blurb you want to throw on the thread.

They're nice when they're not obtrusive, very useful for spamheads such as myself.

I have seen this hack before at vBulletin boards but i can't say that i like it much.
I prefer using the traditional "Post Reply" button! lol

yea well it just makes me take more time to reply to topics so i dont get to reply to as many topics or read as many

quick reply is just a text box at the bottom of each topic with a reply button

u can have a smiles box if u wish

just makes it easier to post u know less time is good and if u took away post reply button all together u would free up some bandwith as well

but i wouldn't do that some people like it still

but quick reply is nice

turn off Signatures, Avatars, and Images. Even a full page of text doesn't take that long to load that way.
