In the face of accusations, counteraccusations, credibility problems and a series of ridiculous claims asserted around the so-called ATI "monitor death" drivers, etc., I have often returned to the rather calm forum here to find out what is REALLY going on [contrast the lamentable crap at ShortMedia.com forum and others]. Thus I was a bit amazed to see ATINut dropped off the forum because he failed to meet Zardon's demand that ATINut privately communicate and/or otherwise verify any and all of his comments today. Mind you, not a request that he post it on some thread other than the Put An End to the Stupid Rumours thread started by Catalyst Maker, but rather keep it quiet or get out. Now, since Zardon is one of the owners of the forum, it's his privilege. I also recognize the fine line that moderators need to play in maintaining a useful and helpful forum, but I find it offensive and somewhat high-handed. I'd have replied accordingly in that thread, but then I don't care to get the same kind of treatment . . . and the tone of things on that thread at the point where Zardon took action certainly leads me to expect as much.

I guess I'll wait a couple weeks and check back and see if people have calmed down a little. Or not.

Actually im not one of the owners of this forum, I am the sole owner, but that is irrelevant, I treat people fairly and I let everyone talk and communicate if you feel otherwise then im sorry you see it that way, I have no time for rudeness or flaming posts. There are other forums that tolerate it, and if you had looked around this forum you will see just how high quality this site and its associated membership is, im not letting DH turn into a flamefest, "shout now think later forum."

Ok lets get to the meat of the issue, the "rumours" and "speculation", Firstly you arent aware of all the facts, ive been dealing with people in PM and email for a while now regarding this and have solved a few of the problems in email all of which to this point have had nothing to do with the Cat 3.8 drivers. What you people dont seem to understand is this. Driverheaven is a support forum, its not a ground to start spouting off at members of companies who come here and give their own time to attempt to communicate with people, something very few companies partake in as it is. Shall we lose this due to some idiots shouting their mouths off in an non constructive damaging way without grounds, or is it grounds enough just to have heard someone on another forum posting something which you immediately take as gospel? There have been alot of rumours and talk posted on forums, ive read most of them, but ive YET to see a single shred of proof to this, and ive asked everyone to email me it so we can confirm it and fix it ! our board members even ran independent tests which were inconclusive in backing these "claims" up.

ATI nut was banned for his behaviour and the manner in which he posted, he wasnt banned for his opinions. I will not tolerate rudeness to people who are giving time to help others, regardless of whether they are company members or not. It shouldnt be hard to show people a little courtesy when communicating and those who dont on this forum will be removed, I make no excuses for it. Its the whole principal of DH and has always been so, and quite frankly its been successful due to the fact newbies can come here and not feel intimidated by some raving egotists who insult everyone.

We deal with facts, not rumours, and we certainly dont deal with aggressive rumour mongers. if ANYONE has proof to this matter, then please, email me it. im tired reading a new so called claim every day, ive no time to be dealing with childish bickering and nonsensical ramblings.

This isnt open for discussion, if you feel this forum is unfairly run, then thats fine leave, but if you want to make a difference and get your viewpoints across in a sensible and constructive manner then hit the post button and do so -- you dont seem a bad guy but please enough of the attention seeking posts.
