Site news and news headlines dividing POLL

well zardon suggested for me making a poll on this suggestion:

the home page has dividers on the article subjects at the top dividing DH Site news and News headlines, I thought it would help if those kinda of dividers were added to divide articles its self in addition to the headlines so news would be visually to differentiate instead of just bolds.... do you get what I mean?

if you dont understand what I mean read this thread
or someone else explain it better than me cause im a dumbass canadian!

.....i think..... that this would abe a little hard to implement as it's pulling everything from the new forum...... i think they would end up having to create a second forum to split the two...but i'm not sure.... maybe a little software trick could be applied were if it recognized STICKY that is automatically put it in a seperate box at the top.... meh....not sure.... This might be implemented in DH DP2.... can't say for sure about anything though.... not my area...but i'm very interested in what it woud take...

I like the way DH actually displays news, i think there's no need for a change.

Reason, it would just make it cleaner and easier to follow.

I wouldn't have to run down looking for the none site news I could just look for the break instead.

They already split the Headline of site and none site. So I guess it must be possible.

I voted No because all those horizontal 'breaks' are already taking a few seconds to complete loading on my machine. (Still not sure why, though.) But, adding more will only make the page load slower.

As it is now, if there's an article you want to read, you only have to click on the title and you'll be taken right to it...no scrolling involved.

I don't think there needs to be complete news articles. The article title and a brief snip from the article is all that we should need to determine if it's worthy to click on the url to get the whole story.

you dont have to as it is. you just click the first non site news article at the very top in the link list and it will scroll immediately to that article.

ok, its just sometimes when im scrolling down I do get mixed up, but its not my decision to change it its the site's

Maybe just have a button or link on the front page on the top left where all the other links are that says "Site news archive"- then that link would search out site news only if s0meone wants to review just the site news, then you wouldn't have to change the news forum as it is. I didn't vote.
