..... is there maybe a way to put a notice in there so that it would somewhat tell us why? (like: You are currently logged in as "name", you need "status" or higher to view the forum that contains this thread ) or something of the sort.... so some of us don't post up "problems" in the feedback...... an idea....

I get that same page/notice if I accidentally click on the 'edit' option for somebody else's post. I visit so many other forums and some of them have the options at the top of my post and others have them at the bottom. So, if I make a mistake, it quickly lets me know I can't edit someone else's post.

Johny, it's just verifying to you that you are logged in. If you click on the edit option of my post, you'll get the same thing. It will show that you're logged in...but don't have permission to edit my post. Essentially, it's the same as with the original post ... it's just stating that you're attempting to do something that you don't have the proper permissions to perform.
