Blind downloads?

In a lot of the news postings, links to the DOWNLOAD, rather than the info page is posted - particularly irritating if you were hoping for freeware, but find you've downloaded a trial.

PLEASE consider linking to the info page instead of/as well as. and possibly indicating the status if known.

PS. I'd like to shoot the first MORON that used the term "FREE DOWNLOAD" - I certainly wouldn't pay for a download that needed a registration fee to be fully usable.
