Consoles on DH Forum.

I know this is mainly a Pc/Hardware site but i think its a good idea to add a section on the forum to consoles, i see a lot of people on the boards discussing their console games. So why not? Please fell free to express your opinions.

yeah the gamimg forum is used for this...

but i agree there should be an actual console section with a PS2 , GameCube & X-Box section categorys

im on DH every day and online ALL day.....id happily be a moderator for the section

Coucel forum would be not to bad at all.... modding... upgrading..... emulating.... running linux on them or windows.. whatnot... gamecube/xbox/ps2.... yeah, i could see some use in a fourm like that.... wonder if there are any other members that would be really happy to see a forum like that.....

I would love to see that...

My friend and I have spent a lot of time running and moding an Xbox to run linux.... It make a great pvr and has all the hook ups and things for it already....

(I also know a lot of people show interest in this sort of thing....)

You guys got my vote...

It would be a good idea. and it was contemplated a long time ago, but for one very important thing -- activity. There is not enough demand and/or activity to break the gaming forum up into relevant sections.

you remember a while ago, we "tidied" up the forums? this was to make it cleaner with less clutter. I dont think adding several forums for consoles, which will see little to no activity as a whole is a good idea.

All gaming and consoles information can go into the gaming forum, at least its active enough with it all grouped together !

the gaming forum covers all the areas even though Driverheaven is mainly a PC orientated site ... it covers all areas of gaming ... so in my opinion i see nothing wrong with the current setup as it also caters for consoles as well

The demand as I said isnt there, the gaming forum covers this avenue quite adequately. If demand increases and I start seeing loads more console threads appearing ill reconsider it, but as it is right now, its not needed.
