ADs Rerouting me....
I'm getting rerouted to AD sites....
I have the DH front page set in my favorite links. Lately when I hit that link from my Favorites, I'm getting totally rerouted to a FULL page AD. The latest one is this Talk America AD. It happened just now. In order to get to DH's site, I have to hit the link again. I took a screen capture of this last one if you need it. EDIT: Some of these ADs are actually changing my default Home Page.

ok this is unacceptable and ill email the ad company AGAIN. im really sorry guys, this isnt intentional on my or the admins behalf its the ad company who supply the ads, and ive told them not to include these kind of ads in our campaign.

Just an update. I understand you're doing all you can to make the ADs as unintrusive as possible. Here's what happened on the latest episode....just a few minutes ago: I clicked my DH hotlink. Got a 'POPOVER' AD. (Yes, it came to the front of the DH Front Page.) I clicked to Close the AD and got one of those option screens asking if I wanted to install software. I answered, NO, as usual. Right after that, I got the following screen (which I've been getting a LOT lately) and is VERY annoying:  I keep my AD-Aware up-to-date, but I don't run it every few minutes....and shouldn't have to do that. In several instances, it's right after I get this screen that my default Home Page has been altered.

excellent Dyre, ive emailed the ad company the image as well. hopefully they will be reopening soon to look into this. I suspect one of these ads has slipped into the campaign.

I was just surfing the website at work and suddenly I got this window which covered my entire screen and it would not allow me to close it only gave one option to hit enter and then it changed hijacked my home page to this http://www.passthison.com/r4/?s43 and I had also another ad which would not allow me to use my computer for 60sec and it filled my entire screen and no button combinations would help I am getting pop ads even as I am writing this DAMN MY CD DRIVE JUST OPENED BY ITSELF!!!
It also changes my homepage to this http://default-homepage-network.com/start.cgi?hometest.

yes I know, ive already been told this one, its been reported. it will be rectified soon hopefully by the ad company, in the meantime bookmark the forum index. the popups will be removed.
