DH Screensaver

I just downloaded and installed DH screensaver (non ATI) under winXP and when I tried to customize It rebooted my PC. Then when I booted into windows, It said I had corrupt files under themes (where it had installed to) So I had to run Chkdsk and uninstall DH screensaver!

Anyone know whats up? lol

actually no I dont, unless you have a bad CD or download ?

I downloaded from primary source on downloads section.

the snowball one.... i've only had it complain that i was using un supported resolutions on a 9200 and samsung 753df..... 640x480...

ok I recommend, deinstalling both of the screensavers if you havent already, cleaning your reg with regclean or similar, then installing the snowball or other saver one at a time. ive heard if both the DH savers are installed together there is some kind of clash. that might have been the issue.

Both installed here... working fine.... Then again... it's on a clean install of XP...... a good winter cleaning for the rig could always help....

This is the error msg I keep on getting! Its driving me up the wall. Also...The two files on my desktop I cannot get rid of, I delete them and they appear back again. DH what have u done!!!!!! lol

thats nothing to do with the screensaver, one of your themes is corrupted, are you overclocking?

Its happened ever since my pc crashed from installing DH screensaver, and removing it.

well I honestly dont know the screensaver was pretty extensively tested, but I didnt code it personally, paolo martella of glexcess coded it for us. It looks like something has corrupted somewhere along the line, but I really cant see how the saver would corrupt a windows custom theme you have installed.

Im sorry im not much help but I suggest you drop paolo an email at bustard@glexcess.com because I cant reproduce your specific problem on windows XP or 2003 server, all working fine.

Okay fair enough... I haven't installed any themes, its all windows default. It's not a major problem. Im reinstalling this weekend when I upgrade I just wondered if anybody could help.
