this site has become slowly an ATI only site and an OMEGA driver only site.

this site is called driver heaven. not ati heaven only for ati + OMEGA.

would it be possible to make this a driver heaven page or is it just gonna stay another rage3d page with omega drivers?

what about nforce drivers?
soundcard drivers?
Intel mobo drivers?

Nvidia?

and the whole DNA vs Omega thing is getting redicolous. both drivers just contain some tweaks and certain tools which you can easily do yourslef and download add on programs.

First off this site was founded for Omega drivers in its conception. SO what else would you expect. Besides they are great drivers with a massive following so surely he is doing something right wouldnt you agree. If you can do them so easily yourself then why doesnt every Tom, Dick and Harry do them? Because it is quite a bit more than that and it is years of experience doing them that makes them what they are, AWESOME!

Secondly we cannot control who actively contributes to the site company wise. We have tried and tried to get Nvidia more active here. ATI has shown support on this forum that has been outstanding and how can you fault that. Simply put ATI has the better product. Also ATi works with Omega on his drivers so that is another credit to his work.

We cannot help what our member choose here. As I like to think they choose the best for thier money and best performance wise. So of course we are member biased to ATI. We try and I think do a damn good job of covering all aspects of todays technology in our forums. We have had Nforce drivers and soundcard drivers posted here. However we cannot host every driver out there as it would not be feasible.

We are open and try very hard to work with every company that is willing and help out all of our members here no matter what brand they have. We all love hardware, good hardware!

No one is forcing you to read the KS threads so dont. It is a nice contribution a gold member here decided to do so that anyone could be informed about the software and tweaks they may use or be considering using. it is better to be informed than not wouldnt you say? I just do not see any justification to what you are saying.

Obviously you missed our recent review of the Volari or the WD Raptor hard drive both of which are non ATI products

We used to have a Matrox specific forum and were thinking about a PowerVR specific forum, but we closed the Matrox one due to falling demand and the PowerVR one never got off the ground due to STM stopping making the PowerVR chips.

We also host the Kx drivers forum - for homegrown drivers for the EMU10K audio chipset.

Infact, of the 28 forums we provide only 3 are for ATI. We are not and will never be an ATI only site.

So true Uber. I think sometimes people do not look at the big picture here and everything we cover fairly and evenly as best as anyone can.

So as of know I am closing this thread.
