On the main forum page, at the bottom, there is an area where it shows which users are at driverheaven forums at the moment. It would be nice if there was something similar for each individual forum. That would be a wee bit more useful

Yup, and instead of being at the bottom, could you put it at the top? (it's a kind of priority info issue )
Well, yeah, the 'online status' is fine, but would still agree with you to have somethin' similar in individual forums...

I dont think having the users online at the top of the forum would be better, I think positioned at the bottom is the standard for a forum and gives the information to those interested while not getting in the way.

When showing users online in a particular forum, displaying it at the top is the generally accepted method.

I misread the original post, I was meaning the main forum section, not the individual sub forum sections.

idk me wishing that i could i get a job in comps (i mean hell i already know more about them some of the idots with pc repair shops open (no offenese to those that do it)) but some of those people can be down right stupid. I need to find a job with comps or at least technolgy based cause i refuse to work fast food lol the problem is no one wants to hire a 16 your old that knows more them and job at like best you have to be 18 or over. So i im pretty much screwed for the moment job wise except for bulding comps comps for people around here

All in good time, my young apprentice... See, I had a similar 'problem'... Finishing school sooner than the rest of my generation I couldn't get a real job, thus some off-hand design work which never really made me feel good (was 'bout 16/17 then); later on my friend 'hired' me, so I work in a comp. shop in the service department, but just couldn't bear to work as his technician, his secretary, delivery boy, ASO... I left with an abrupt disappearance, never wanting to speak with him again (it's a long story)... Just when I thought I'll die of boredom and eye-twitching related with constant squeezing of my creativity for some silly design jobs, I finally got a break and got a job in this big private firm in the support branch for the leading oil company in Croatia (hardware & software support for their gas stations)... From time to time I do some jobs on the side (like to keep movin') and am planning to open my own design firm when I come up with enough money; or I might even move back to Canada, as it gives me more opportunities than Croatia...
