Strange issue possibly related to the issues lately

I've had to log in about 4-6 times now in the last hour...... i'll be browsing along..... try and post something and it'll asking me to loggin.. hit back.... refresh... boom... i'm not logged in..... tried different thing every time... no luck....

Sorry if this is nothing to worry about if someone is trying to fix things and it's just normal to have happen....

i also get the same thing.i don't leave cookies on mt rig but with the exception of log in cookies.

sometimes like 2-3 times have to login in one day.

well.... i haven't changed a thing.... but it's starting to show up more frequently.. *worries*

might be a good idea to chage your password in the mean time, not that i'd worry but you never know

its nothing to do with people "taking" passwords, we had this problem once before 6 months after the site opened, if its the same thing we had to clear out the server side cookies - this means everyone will have to relog in though and its kind of a last resort option. Im sure when Andrew gets time he will look into it later.

no I had that or simular happen a couple of times, I just reset my password and all was good again.

I had it not let me log in wit my password (that i know so well could recite in my sleep) and yet it showed me online (it's happend about 2 or 3 times now) only way i could get in was to reset my password

resetting your password is merely creating a new server side cookie which is fixing the problem and this is probably the issue some people are experiencing with server side cookies being corrupted.

be aware there is a delay with the whos online updating when you close out of the site it doesnt mean someone is "in your account". if you click "log out" top right your name will vanish immediately from the whos online. - this is all part of the "plan" to lower server loads by altering alot of small settings in the efforts to give everyone the fastest possible site response.

Guys this is the feedback forum is not a discussion forum - when problems are reported we will look into them we dont need massive debates on issues to continue in here that are already going to be looked into.
