Firefox
I've recently switched to Firefox as my main browser and am loving it apart from one thing. When I come to DH the right hand side of the screen takes an age to load, on IE it all loads together but on Firefox I'm getting the Extreme Prometia ad, the left hand coloumn and the centre News column immediately and the right hand column anything up to a miunte or so later?

Any ideas?

That's how it's currently rendered.

Our front page is basicaly a 3 column split, each column rendering after the other. And the middle column is the biggest which is why you see the wait.

It means that it's getting data from the server a bit slower than normal. But I get that behaviour all the time using Mozilla.

The majority of our users use IE (shudder) so we have to pander to their needs (unfortunately).

IE may not be perfect, no browser is, but it's convenient and that's why people use it

The nice thing about firefox is you can tweak it as you will, including adding performance that isn't normally present. Check out the Tips & Tweaks Here!!. Also, for information on editing the files you need to do this check out the Config File Editing Help!!!
