My Assessment of DH

The purpose of the following statements is to present MY OWN point of view about this site--it's not meant to be inflammatory or kiss-ass.

Anyways, here are the things I like about this site:

(1) DH's staff-made programs: I like Driver Cleaner, DH Shutdown tool, and Radlink. These programs give DH an advantage when it comes to being differentiated from hundreds of other hardware/software forums. These assets allow DH to stand out.

(2) Involvement of DH program creators in the forums. It's cool to be able to get direct feedback from the programmers.

(3) Fast news. I like how news are constantly being updated. It was at DH that I would find out that a new patch for a few of my games was released.

(4) Contests!!

Here are some things I feel can be improved about this site:

(1) Loading speed of site's main page.

Some things I would like to see change:

(1) Allow a user to use an avatar sooner instead of having him wait til he gets 500 posts!

Overall, I would give this site a 8.5 or a 9!!

Thanks for the feedback Sjae

We do our best to keep adding good tools/content/news to the site and will continue to do so.

On the page loading front, we are constantly tweaking the server to get the best performance we can out of it. I apologise if its a little slow for you however when we get our new server maybe things will improve a little.

As for the Avatar comment, 500 posts is a reasonable level, if it was lower it may well slow the page loading down further. If we receive enough comments about this then we'll review the situation.

Once again thanks for the comments, they are appreciated and i hope you continue to enjoy your visits.
