Question about being logged on to DH and timeout
Well, I know the title doesn't say much...... But here's the deal. I visit the forum. I come back 30 minutes later and it doesn't show me as having left at all. How long do I have to be inactive at the forum for the read/unread images to change? It's kinda annoying to come back just after 30 minutes and find that my read/unread threads are the same as last time...... Even after i read them. I know Zardon doesn't wanna hear it, but the new VB would be a nice addition to DH

the new VB will only take effect for a short period of time ....as it'll be updated.. and then quickly moved over to DP2 which will kick!

DP2?

No, I meant the new VB allows you to view threads and once you visit them and go back to the main forum it shows the READ icon.

No, what the hell is DP2. I don't use acronyms for everything. I dunno what DP2 is.

I know VB3 (Virtual Bulletin 3).

Also, no one really answered my question. How long do I have to be inactive in order for the forum to update my read/unread icons? I know I could log out but it's so impractical to do that everytime.

I don't actually know - and there isn't a vB setting to change that I can see.
You don't have to logout - you can click the Mark all posts as read link at the bottom of the forum index page like I do

I believe right now it is set to either 20 or 25 minutes of inactivity before posts markers are reset.
