Although I cannot find any flaw with your argument (linux user here so Epiphany/Mozilla is my choice) we have to support the most used browser here.

Unfortunately thats IE6 and most people don't want to change no matter how much you argue and the like.

Anyway, AFAIK the only cure for this problem with IE6 users is to stop using anti-spyware and/or web filtering (included on firewalls, etc). As that may be a big no-no - and I can't say I blame them - then the choices become much more limited......
