Can't stay logged in

I thought I saw a thread about this a few weeks ago, but I'm not sure it's the same thing..

I just tried to reply to a thread- and I am logged out it says.. So I log in.... Then shut down IE, then try to reply and it says I'm not logged in. Same thing keeps happening over and over. I'm going to post this and try again, it happened 3 times so far. I'm not blocking the cookies or anything, and haven't installed any programs.

Forget it, it works now- no idea what happened. I guess I 'll leave this post just for the record.

This has been happening for a while now. No idea why and the admins have been unable to reproduce the fault enough times to diagnose it.

It looks like its just a glitch and so just ignore it.

I forgot to mention that- I reset my password the first time it happened because I forgot my p/w.

Then after that it happened 2 more times, so I just logged in normally twice, then posted the feedback-
then like clockwork it started acting normal right after I complained about it..

Actually a few times since the new server was put in it happened but that was always after I hadn't been to DH in 12 or so hours, so I thought maybe there were just changes to the site since I had last been here or something.. I guess it was just this weird log-in bug the whole time.. Oh well, it doesn't happen very often.

Jeff has had this happen to him... .but he's a bit confused by it last time i talk to him..... andrew and him are currently working on a solution... i myself haven't had the problem in awhile... but i'm getting problems now what i hit the BACK button .... (i posted the orginal Thread)..... patience..... it'll hopefully get sorted out REAL soon....

It just happened to me again about 4 times-

I go to reply to a post, I write the entire post, then I hit reply-- then it says I'm not logged in, then I log in where it says too- then I think it will post my post-- but guess what!@?!!? it says "invalid thread. contact web master" or something like that..

Ridiculous, I'm not even going to bother posting anymore, it's a waste of time- the forum just basically deletes the post.

it's almost like it's on a timer- it only does this if I spend a long time (more than 10 minutes??) while writing my post.. But that's when it really pisses me off because obviously I just spent 10 minutes writing a post..

this just happened to me three times- I'll be surprised if this post even works. If I hit the "back" button, my post is gone, deleted.

try writing on a notepad 1st then cut/paste.

we are aware of the situation and arent sitting here doing nothing about it. im waiting on certain developments then there will be massive forum wide changes. sorry for any inconvenience at the meantime for those few who are having the problems. I wish i could reproduce this issue, its only happened to me 3 times in the last few months.
