The reason im asking is due to the fact blade and a few other members are experiencing issues even getting to driverheaven at all. Now there is a possibility its routing and there is a possibility its our firewall, which while wonderful at stopping DOS (Denial of service) attacks (which it has done successfully several times since we introduced it), might be blocking some members - we have been doing some fine tweaking in the past to hopefully stop this from happening.
I guess if you cant see the site you wont see this but I know alot of you guys talk to each other on MSN, so if anyone is having issues let us know and we can look into it. If you cant get onto Driverheaven, my first course of action to you to test is to try a free public proxy server, then we need to work out if its routing/your isp or an overactive server firewall..... Let me also stress that while this shouldnt necessary mean you would get blocked ---- try and refrain from large amounts of refreshing continually on a page. |

Nope.
No problems at all here Z. But I am surprised that people would want to attack DH with DOS attacks. Surprised to see we have enemies

Neon Reported increasing the HTTP Connections from Default 2 to 10+ caused the server to detect the activity as a DOS attack. So if you are having problems state whether you use such an optimization.

I sent an email about this to Zardon earlier today the only way I can access this site is through a proxy, the one that I am using happens to located in Germany. This started two days ago, I havent made any tweaks to the system, and I havent made any registry changes to improve my connection so I dont know why this is happening. I have no problems with any other site, driverheaven.net is the only site that I am having problems with I cant access it at all I get page cannot be displayed or it just times out. I cant ping or tracert the site. I tried clearing out all the temp files, clearing out all the cookies, clearing out history, restoring IE defaults, rebooting, reseting the dsl modem, reseting the router, and tried even using Firefox browser and I still cant access it, the only way is through a proxy thats it, my ip address right now is 141.20.103.68 which is a public proxy in Regensburg, Germany and I am in freaking Texas.HELP????!!!!!

This sucks I am still unable to access driverheaven normally and I have a dynamic ip so I dont think its a problem with my ip being blocked, but going through a proxy is still the only way that I can get here for the past week and it really sucks beacuse its very slow going through a proxy

Ya I have not been able to access From My IP Address for about 1 to 2 weeks now. I rerouted my internet through a different address so I could access which is why I never mentioned it. I thought it was probally something on my end. If you could make my IP work that would be awesome. My IP address that wont access DH is 24.85.86.162
and the one that works is 64.40.98.184 Grats

Yes I had a few problems, the front page takes long time to load and for the most time I get "page cannot be found" it helps after a couple of refreshes.
The forum is normal.

No problems here and I use the HTTP connections tweak.
Only issue is that the front page takes a while to load. |
