front page?

im having problems with front page at the moment.

(for which admin reads this i posted this just before i read a post in the staff forum sorry)

top

bottom

this is with my favoites folders open. once thats closed everything goes back as it were normally.this started since yesterday and have seen this before and forgotten the reason.

its not conected with screen rezas i use a 19" crt @ 1280x1024 so am way over the recomended.

i have tried clearing my cache and nothing has changed.

I've seen that happen at 1024 x 768 once in a while, usually for me-(edit) it goes away after a few refreshes of the screen.

i think i have seen it mentioned before when somebody tried to link an image in the news before, accidentally.

tried force refresh quite a few times also.

its due to the image on the farcry 1.2 article being linked in the middle table, ill move it into the extended text so it still shows up on the forum but the front page will have a "read more".

its down to the fact your resolution isnt high enough (1024x768) to cope with the left table, the middle table with the image, and the right table, our software just cuts the tables out and forces them to the bottom of the whole HTML page.

ok but my screen rez is 1280x1024(mentioned in first post). but any way just looked, its fine now.

Yes your resolution may have been set at 1280x1024 but the favourites you have up on the far left reduced the pixel amount for displaying the HTML page. the page worked fine on 1280x1024 as I tested it.

regardless, we need it to work for those on 1024x768 so ive moved most of the front page text into extended text panel so thats why its now working for you.
