DH Forum/ Micosoft Inernet Explorer

I have PM someone about this, i still have the same prolbem, when i click the Word Association Game ,Thread of PURE randomness ,3 Word Story!! in Off-Topic Forum i get a white screen or my internet Explorer pops up saying.....A Scirpt on the page is causing internet Explorer to run slowy, if it continures to run, your computer may become unresponsive.... i have delected all files and cleared my Drive, reformated, and it started doing this again....is this my Inernet Explorer or DH forum

It's a javascript problem with the Ads. It comes and goes...

Going horribly slow with IE 5 on a crap laptop I dug up... I am formatting it and installing Opera as soon as I finish reading these boards.

We've been unable to replicate your error Dexsal, and until we can do so there's not much we can, I've tried in the threads you've mentioned across most browers and still don't experience this. If you could narrow it down to a page in those threads or something, we might be able to pin it down.

Wouldnt affect the speed. Its more than likely a prior signature image is causing the issue (we had a similar problem with an image linked to MSN before), as far as I know from the last PM i received from Dexsal, he isnt having the problem anymore anyway. As for the comments regarding "ads" in this thread, thats totally incorrect and not applicable to this problem issue anyway.

No one could reproduce it and no other member commented about it, so im figuring it was a one off issue.

Well, dialup and my router are pretty close at times

I need to conserve bandwidth or my ass brother will disconnect me from the router because he's usually playing games and he will ping high (sorry for saying this so many times)

Then we need to get craig to make a LOW bandwidth theme, might be a thought for those still on dialup or with evil brothers.......

Dam i Still have it?

When i click Forun/offTopic when not loged-in, i can see (1234.page-count last page)beside Thread of pure randomness.
Now i click lastpage.. enter thread,...click reply..log-in..type message in thread..click send...screen goes white!.....now i cant re-enter Thread of pure randomness and now cant see page-count-last-page...but can enter threads that dont have hugh page counts...now if i clean temporay internet files/cookies...i can see page-count log-in and post just once.

this may be my prolbem,......i dloaded spybot-seacrh & Destroy found three things ...one was a tracking cookies D-click worm.......re-mored immunize reformated 2 times..dloaded window updates .spybot-seacrh & Destroy ..still had them!! Norton ,Zone, AVG,Syygate didnt help....so just by chance i found the location and detected the files...spybot-seacrh & Destroy now says No immedate threats were found...as i dont have any imageing now to DH..maybe some bug is still their?
