Default Post just a few comments on the design

[COLOR=black]Overall it looks nice, though I really don't like the white text with this blue design. Black just works better (see? ). I do like the default font, though, if nothing else because italics works much better than it does with Arial. Other than that, I think things are coming along nicely. Yet another place for me to waste time on the internet.

Well I'll chime in with the opposite opinion; I think the white looks good. Us oldtimers appreciate the contrast and the fact that it's still quite legible on a 16x12 laptop LCD.

It'd be cool if there was a way for a user to set their own preferences for things like that.. like, say, I want black text, so I click a setting and I get black text. You want white text, so you get white text. Something similar to different styles/themes in vBulletin, but more customizable.

Oh Andrew..

On the drawing board, the next version will have not only admin-definable styles like vBulletin has, but users will able to define their own custom colors, fonts, etc. if they so desire.

We are going to do white for now though, because that was what *you* (the people of DriverHeaven) decided on in the poll.
