New Link

Can you make a link in the main menu of the forum that let's every member see all of there posts? Instead of going into members and ythen looking for yourself, can you make link so we can just click and get there? Many other forums have them and I think that it would be a great addition to Driver Heaven. Can you just put a link in the forum page that lets each member see all of their posts? Does anybody else agree with me on this?

yeah, but I'm talking about putting a link in there that will have everything that I ever posted. Alot of othe forums have that, and I think that this one should too.

that takes too long to do. It takes 1 second if you put a link in the main forum page.

erm... it's somewhat useless as most likely the demand for such an option being on a front page is pretty low... not to mention that it only take for usual high speed users a extra second to click there name on the left side of the front page and the click "find more post by this user"...

dial up, 5 seconds-10....

Why don't you just bookmark http://search.php/?do=finduser&userid=70539 then?
One click, in your browser toolbar. I have View New Posts there, I use it to come to DH.

There's several logins before i get to access the vB template system, then I have to locate the template that corrosponds to the part of the forum portal that you want the link in (each page can be made of any number from 5 or more templates) once i find the correct one, i have to add the new link, write a conditional so that the statement works for each unique user, save the template, preview the template, then alter the templates for the four themes, test the display in all four of the DriverHeaven themes, check them as a staff member, non-staff member and guest accounts.

Compared to book marking the link already posted by Vampy, well I don't need to point out the obvious.

If there a few people actually wanting this link and not just yourself than I may consider, but we don't like clutter, and one more link that one person in 70,000+ is gonna use. It doesn't seem feasible.

If you're reading this, and you want such a link, post your support here, and I will re-consider.

Not really to be honest, I dont see the need for it. The most important functionality is the fact there is a "new posts" button so you can see what has been posted since you were last here. Anything you have posted in yourself at a prior date and was important you would either have subscribed to or bookmarked. You are the only person to have asked for this since we opened - its not worth the work.

Because they chose to have it put in? which forums are you even talking about, and why do you keep bringing it back up?

Click your username, a menu pops up, and you can click find all posts by 'yourname'

I'm afraid that's as easier as it's going to get for you.

Ok, I don't see the answer changing anytime soon. If it does, I'll re-open it.

Just bookmark the link, and if you so choose, load it up when you get on instead of the default forum or front page so that you can see what's new since you last checked.
