Changing Thread Titles.....1..2

EDIT: what the heck it works here.... but not in gaming forum or off topic weird

Well ive noticed this for a really long time.... every time i try to edit the thread title it only changes it after your in the thread... it wont change the actual thread name if ur in the forum.....

Can you guys make it so when u change the thread title it will change the title while viewing the forum and while your in the thread

i beleive i noticed this quite a long time ago.... but i think it's somewhat due to Cacheing.... not completely updating the thread info..... i'm not completely sure but one minute you'll have changed it yet it hasn't completely applied itself... only to the subject title.. not the entire thread title..... completely refresh the page again 5 minutes later and boom.. it's changed...

I however don't know how, or why... But i'm sure Craig has a pretty good answer.....

There's a difference between editing your post, and edited your thread, if you want to change both in one, you need to choose Edit Thread from the pop-up menu, and not click edit on your post.

EDIT: The 1 in the title i added via "Edit Thread" the 2 I added by clicking edit on your post, you get what I'm saying. Thank you and good night

Under Thread Tools near the top, it's a pop-up menu when you click on it, you need to choose "Edit Thread" there is a time limit on altering the thread title, which I as admin don't have it, that could be your problem.
