MikeDaMan is on a distinguished road

The first time you enter a web page all of the icons and graphics are stored on your hard drive (The Temporary Internet Files). That means that when you visit another page if the graphics, text, font, color, etc. are the same the page should load faster because data is coming off your hard drive rather than your modem. If you use a 56k frequently and dont want to wait for data to load all the time you cn increase your temporary internet files by going to Tools/Internet Options/Settings in Internet Explorer. However, once this space is full you will see a major decrease of speed if you travel to other sites so you should empty this every once in a while. Hope that helps.

The DH Server is under a lot of stress and site slow down is an issue, The admin staff do an excellent job keeping this puppy ticking over the way it does,

well the site recently should be running faster (thats probably put the curse on that now).

I think in this specific case MikeDaMan hit the nail on the head.
