Pissed Too many news headlines to keep up with

Can we slow down on the news headlines? I am busy throughout the day away from the computer. But now there are WAY too many news headlines with ToshiroOC posting also. I can't keep up with the headlines. I actually like to read most of the headlines...if not all. Can posting we slowed a little?

there has been alot of news lately, most of which is highly interesting.

I dont see how having too many news posts can be a major concern, news will fluctuate on a daily basis. its only a matter of looking at the new post symbols and ignoring those that have no appeal to you.

most people complain of a news forum being slow or dead. I think the news activity should be welcomed.

Sorry about that DriveEuro - I was pretty excited about being a news poster, so I did about 10 per day... too much I guess. From now on, what I'll try to do is put the most interesting news on the front page and the slightly-less interesting news in the news forum but not on the front page, so what happens is if you want to see all the news, you go to the news archive, and if you only want the important stuff, you scroll down the front page... how does that sound?

I had cyborg alter the front page news post settings up from 15 to 25 articles, this should help as well.

Y'know Zardon, with the main page at that size I don't know how well the 56kers are going to take it, and the headline section at the top now seems too big... it's up to you, but personally I think it would be better of we simply posted threads in news instead of posting front-page articles except for the big stories, and then left it the way it used to be...

when I go to the news archive is there a way to list them by DATE posted? Not the last post date on the news artical? it seems when they go in the archive they are no longer able to be sorted by the date they were originally posted, or maybe I just overlooked that setting.
