Default Post NEW FORUM MAIN LOGO AND BUTTONS......

along with a new forum logo ive made some new forum buttons today, for the NEW THREAD, POST REPLY, THREAD CLOSED, along with the profile, email, pm, search, www, quote, edit and go with a few new PM buttons also.

ive modernised them with a 3d bevel look ... while still attempting to maintain the forum colour scheme and legability.

press control refresh in IE to make sure you are getting the newest cache....there have been several uploads recently!

what you think?

Hey..

Yeah I like the new buttons. Matter of fact I think I was on when you was changing them. I kept thinking man...something looks different but I couldn't put my finger on it till I noticed the buttons. To me it looks more intergrated and sleeker. Pretty much what Crash said.

Couple of issues here using Mozilla 1.0 RC3 (I assume it affects all Mozilla/Netscape 6/7 versions)

1. There's a visible gap in the logo. Just above the words "Founded May 1st 2002". Looks like a table cell border is too wide

2. The bottom of the "cards mounting bracket" is overwriting the forum section text.

Aside from these two niggling features - its looking very nice

UPDATE: The logo is stopping me from clicking on the forum links

What a pretty title bar

I just wrote this when I noticed the reply about problems with mozilla when I clicked preview:

The bottom part is occasionally a bit messed up in Opera 6. There's a slight horizontal gap just above the "founded.." text and the bottom end hides part of the link under it (in the navigation path thingy)...

Yeah, the same as mozilla...

And another thing, the bar is huge. I imagine it takes up something like half of the screen in lower end monitors. Fine on my 19" but I do know people who are still using crappy 15" ones...

Well why can't mozilla use Layered images like IE 4+ does? Crap, well I will fix it.
