Happens to everyone with an expensive phone. You lose it eventually. Anything that small is meant to be lost in my opinion.

I have to say.... (not trying to be a dick or anything) .. but it kinda serves ya right spending so much on a damn phone - I mean the more expensive it is, the LESS likely your ever gonna see it again. (lower cost = lower resale in black market = not worth getting caught with 'stolen goods')

My phone was 1/3 the price and does all I need (email/fits in pocket etc..) - its still pretty small and works great - AND if I DO loose it... its not AS painfull.

On top of that - did you really use ALL the features it offered?? - (like the video stuff etc..??) I have some doubts - I know I wouldnt use the video stuff quite yet, as its tooo new of technology and most likely buggy/lacking content/expensive. But I admit, thats just an assumption/opinion.

Meh well its drying and I'm gonna repair it (I cracked the case...) and then repaint it in black...

Did a second coating which went great! Much better paint!

Letting it dry till tomorrow and hopefully the camera lense and screen shouldn't be black. Otherwise, I'm gonna go through hell to clean those

I get my (really cool) 3G phone for free, 200 mins any network, 100 txts a month, and so long as I post copies of my bills every 4 months it costs me nothing at all

And that phone's sim is locked and you must use it for some time, I don't know what the deal is between you and your operator...
Any way in here you must use the phone and the operators sim for 2 to 4 years .....

2-4 years bummer, I usually upgrade my phone every year, or technically every 11 months because they always let me upgrade a month early!

Thats the case in "free" phones in here, vaule of the phone = more years you have to stick to the operator.

Well in India, as you must know, well it's VERY easy to buy "cheap" stuff... And I dunno, I hate Motorolla Software so I'd rather try LG (if I can of course).

Very expensive though (370€) in Europe... (I don't have a subscription, I'm prepaid)

Nothing like using the phones sim lock, if someone steals your phone it would be useless for them since everytime you remove any sim card from your phone and put it back in, beeing it the same sim or a different one, it will always ask you for the sim lockup pin. Doesn't solve the issue of the phone beeing stolen but atleast the guy who stole can't use it anyways.
