Default Post NVIDIA AND ATI ARE THE SAME COMPANY!!!

OH MY LORD, I can't believe this! I was playing around at Network Solutions' website, whoising different websites, when I stumbled upon this! If you read the whois entries, they are IDENTICAL! Only the name of company is different! I did a little more research, and, according to the Federal Trade Commission (link), they are both the same company! Same filings under the SEC, same Board of Directors.

Delve deeper and you will find that the head engineer in charge of coordinating product development of the R300 is in charge of NV30! (link)

I cannot fucking believe this!

And Kevin Tse? He's the Chief Information Officer of both companies! The link provided is a leaked customer support e-mail, in which Mr. Tse reveals that his PC has an ATi card in it, and is asking for help on installing a GeForce! (link). I can only conclude that Tse was, in fact, an ATi employee and that, recently, the two companies merged.

I am not making this up. Later, I found this page! This page, maintained by the leading invesigative reporting magazine in Taiwan, undeniably confirms the merger of the two companies. (link)

What the...? The whois lookups I did produced the data I previously posted -- those were direct copy/pastes. I'll have to do search a bit for the SEC filings, but the AsiaMoney expose` is pretty hard to argue with!!

Default Post More Clues

I was just looking through the whois entries on the two respective companies and they have, indeed changed. In fact, there is evidence of this change, as both entries say:

Database last updated on 3-Jun-2002 06:06:15 EDT

I think this is extremely suspicious.

RadeonMAXX, I don't know how this can be true, but all I've found points exactly towards that fact -- ATi and NVDA had the same whois entries, the same Board of Directors, the same SEC statements, and, as the AsiaMoney site clearly and most and irrefutably illustrates, the same technicians and staff, as well as one integrated product line.

Default Post What's todays date?

'Cause I could have sworn that April 1st already passed.

Methinks it was a database error more than anything else...although it WOULD go a long way towards explaining the month long info/leak black-out from both companies....

I think this is extremely suspicious.

As did all the other whois searches I did today. Thats the date of the last database update, not the last edit of the particular record returned... Remember, the root DNS databases are always being updated, as domains expire/change...

Sheesh, I thought I'd fool at least one person!

Well, when you make it up in five minutes, it's hard to be convincing, I guess.
