Default Post Anti-religious signatures (and people) suck royal ass

Nothing pisses me off on these forums and elsewhere moreso than those shitty little anti-religious signatures and taglines and the fascist little pricks that hide behind them.

What I choose to believe is my choice. While I'm not a Bible- or Torah- or Koran-thumper, those snide little jabs treat us as if we're all the same. Just because I believe in something tha can't be proven, solved, or explained by some halfwit formula doesn't make me any less of a person; nor does it make me a religious militant, an anti-science partisan, or some backwoods rifle-toting hillbillie. F---ing stereotypes.

What's worse, it's done under the guise of "Freedom of Speech". Bullshit. Bullshit, bullshit, bullshit. if it was true freedom of speech, then why waste your f---ing time trying to keep my from using mine? I'm sure that there would be multitudinous complaints if I used a scripture quote and tried to witness via my signature or tagline; but that would be ok, wouldn't it? But heavens forbid I actually have the same freedom of expression as those fascist anti-religious jackoffs!

Religion isn't perfect. Yes, there are some people who f--- it up so badly that it gives all of it a bad name. But if you're going to let a small percentage of people cloud your thinking, then chances are you're not smart enough to make it through life anyway.

So, stop hiding behind those little misinterpretations of whatever government document you adhere to. Let me worship my God in peace, and I won't say a damn word about how you yank your egotistical cock. Freedom of (and from!) expression goes both ways, assholes.

As opposed to the people who try and stuff religion straight down your throat?
I think you'll find that athiests or agnostics dont tend to cram any kinda of religious beliefs down anyones throat unlike your average preacher who more than happy to spout useless and outdated scripture that has no bearing on modern day life.

Whats more, would you take devil whorshipping as anti-religious or religious? If its anti-religious then you're being hypocritical, if its religious then your blaspheming - so you're going to hell no matter what you believe. Unless you're like me - an athiest.

And for a final point, the fact that you're closing your mind to the possibility of there not being a god is kinda silly really. Especially as the people that you claim to hate are mearly causing mental stimualtion to either

a) Justify your belief to yourself through a witty retort
b) Take what he's said on board and actually think about it.

If b, whats to say that he's not a new prophet or re-incarntation with new upated religious ideas? And he might say "ah actually guys I got it all wrong the first time and heres how it REALLY is".

i beg to differ. i think stupidity is the only reason why earth isn't overcrowded with humans. they (ruthless bastards looking for more power) may put on a religious front, but all they are after is (money, power, revenge).

If'n the man don't like anti-religious sigs that's his business and his right. I thought his rant was pretty good considering it just doesn't seem to come natural to him, AshG seems too nice.

So Jesus-H-God-fu*king-Christ, back off the man!

And marrage....way back when it was very WRONG to have sex before marrage...

Humans are very capable of going around with anyone and having children any time of the year.

I agree. Religious crusades suck.

HOWEVER, pre-marital sex being wrong is not a way-back thing, it's a today thing too. How many relationships have been ruined by poor sexual choices? Too many people see it as a fun, frivolous, wanton act of momentary fulfillment! I'm not going to say that you're going to burn in Hell for having premarital sex, but I do think that it's generally a poor choice made in the heat of the moment. As a culture, we've allowed sex to become some idle time-filler and have trained our children that it's ok to horizontal hula if they'venothing better to do. And then, when our son is about to become a 13-year-old father or his cock rots off or our daughter is a knocked-up 7th grader or develops an STD that renders her barren, we sit back and blame each other for not teaching our children right.

My girlfriend and I have chosen not to have sex of any type until we are married; this is not just the result of good upbringing in a morally responsible home, but also the end result of looking at the evidence around us. Too many of our friends have ended up crying on our shoulders, suicidal, or have ruined a year of high school or college because they had a bad (series of) sexual experience(s). We've both seen bright young students lose out in life because they have to change diapers instead of doing homework. And we wont' even go into HIV/AIDS and other STDs.

Sex should be something special and appreciated, not something to do instead of watching paint dry. It's your choice as to what you do with your body, but at least respect the body you're doing it to. I won't bring religion into this, but I will say that there's some complete morons that need to learn their lesson. Sex should be a spiritual and intellectual meeting and not just a frictional groin experience. If it's only getting your rocks off and not fulfilling you completely then chances are you're not ready for it anyway.

When ever i see..... hear....anything religious...i'm very unconfortable.... which really sucks because it feels like i may have a heart attack every time i walk into a church..... very erry...

I was never baptised... never went to church....been in 4 different churches..... one for family pictures..one for a wedding and 2 others for other useless things..... Never been to a funieral or anything. I really don't care about it... I leave people alone in nearly all situations but when it comes to a vegitarian or something.... i seem to have a habit of getting on thier case... but that's a different story.

I would have to say, live life the way you wish...obey the main comandments...... And enjoy it.... don't force it apon anyone to change cultures.... styles or any damn thing...

Everything I've seen in the world, innovation, ecological structure and substructure, atmosphere, physics, quantum physics, astronomy, relativity, time...etc... seems to follow a logical, if not intelligently created, design. To be an athiest or agnostic, one would have to discount the universe's creation on hugely random, yet fantastically co-mingling and smooth working accidents. Seems a little depressing to me that through the trillions of random occurances that magically formed into space-time I was created as a completely random and unfocused event, charged with operating randomly with the world to create more vague and exponentially random events.

I think I'd rather believe in God than that.

And to Satanists, if all that you believe of God and Satan is true, then what makes you think Milton's "Better to reign in Hell, than serve in Heaven" is something to strive for or be upheld by Satan? Why would the supreme being of evil let some greasy goth kid with no brains have any position other than "Cleaner outer of Hell's toilets via teeth and penis?" At least in Heaven there is the off chance that you may get a cool flaming blue sword, but in Hell torment, pain, longing, and strife are all any human can get. Oh, but I forget, Satanists are recreations of Demons and Archdevils. hehe.

Hate to be nitpicky, but nowhere in traditional Christian belief does it say that Satan will have any sort of ruling position in Hell. He is, according to the Bible, going there for punishment just like every other nonbeliever.

But that's only if you're basing your ideas on the Bible. If not, roll your own (Belief, that is).
