Reporters uncovered what is determined to be documented proof of a link between the Hussien regime and Bin Laden...Hussien is gone, Bin Laden is hiding so why is there so much concern now? The U.S. is definitely interested now in anything that would point out where all the weapons of mass destruction have gone, sold, destroyed or given or exchanged with terrorists hiding in Syria and Pakistan, perhaps nuclear weapons technology as well...
I think we are going to really begin to dissect Syria's role in all of this, surely this will evolve into another conspiracy to bring terrorism to other shores...
I think we should demand Syria turn over all of its political refugees now.
It is time for Syria to come clean..

I believe we know where is, but we can't legally go in there in the broadest since of the term, he is definitely hiding in Pakistan, he has already endeared himself to the local militia and pro fundamentalist elements of the military. It would be one sticky wicket to roost him out. no doubt he would be a catalyst that heats up the entire region more than the present Kasmir affair. I just can't see us getting on top of Bin Laden until he tries to move, and that would be under the gravest circumstances. but it could happen.

Yes perhaps, but I doubt it. The whole matter of inspecting and eliminating WMD in IRAQ was to remove the variable called Saddam Hussien. I believe that the coalition knew that Hussien would never give up his arsenal, but he would hide it and he would sell it and damn sure would give it to someone that would offer him refuge and hide his beleagured empire...The Ba-ath party is no more for all intense purposes.
Israel is very very strong, and has been pulling punchs in the matter of controlling Palestinians. yes the have bulldozed, yes they have used heavy firepower and yes they have adopted the old guerilla tactics that won them their independence in the first place. The British may chafe a little, but the Israelis used terror techniques to secure power and take it away from the British. But that is a whole other story. Read about Golda Mier and Ben Gurian for starters. Killed and exiled in Europe the zionists fought for and carved out a country in a poltically unstable area, turned the deserts in more arable land, and brought all the prejudices from Europe and America as well.
The americans will stand as brothers with the Israelis under the most adverse conditions, and their spy network as won lots of respect. but you never hear about their hit squads and their terrorist activity abroad, because their only agenda is to eliminate potentiol threats to Israel. Remember the fellow that tried to sell his huge gun apparatus to Hussien?
The world often looks upon us with some disgust perhaps because we ourselves perform preemptive strikes and covert operations to maintain the balance so to speak. I am not endorsing that kind of activity, but I can't imagine a world that has countries without enemies......even sweden, russia, finland, norway, Europe, england, etc etc.....we have to stay one step ahead...and the Israeli government helps us a great deal, even when relations between us are strained.
I can't see the conflicts in the West Bank and Gaza strip get anymore complicated, it will boil down to the next two generations of peoples in that area. they will have to make a choice. Sharon and Arafat won't live forever...
and niether will Castro.......whole other story..

Im just curious as to why one nation is to be allowed to have unaccounted nuclear arms.Pakistan has them India has them and they are accounted for.

Israels WMD`s arent accounted for and this is accepted by Usa.Why?

Israel posseses nervegas.One proof is that an Israeli cxargo plane crashed in Belgium ( or Holland)..killed many people and the cargos was declared to be something that it obviously wasnt......by the Isrealis.

It was later confirmed that the cargo was one of the manin ingredients to produce Sarin.

I know about that one as well, seems at the time conjecture put the contents as possibly ingrediants if you will, for making pesticides, very similiar.
As far as the nukes in Pakistan and India, we actually have no full accounting, and speaking as someone that worked in the nuclear power field....niether do we. No one really gets rid of all the physics packages, we may get rid of the antiquated delivery systems, but not the warheads, we simply remove certain aspects of the physics package, like the gases that slow the fission reaction

[COLOR=limegreen]Hey, Blue, you can see though, that nuclear proliferation is something that must be controlled right, and that no one regardless of their level of capability in the nuclear arena, is ever going to admit what they have, they will admit what they will destroy right? i.e. SALT2 treaty.
But I have always been the advocate of M.A.D. or mutually assured destruction.
Now I see that if everyone has a nuke, low yield or not, things could get really complicated..now you see the world that I see.
We (U.S.) and the Soviets have always suspected that other countries could come with their own devices, and not on the classic physics packages that we came up with years and years ago. The Israeli's have the French design I am sure.
Maybe it is time to develope more sophisticated methods for detection of specific sources of radiation from radioactive substances within these warheads, as it stands now, based on my limited knowlege, the technology isn't foolproof. All identified sources have to be researched or revealed, depending on which country your in, ha ha....ergo, the argument against invading IRAQ, as opposed to invading N.Korea, etc...
Keep watching the news, the N. Koreans are against the wall economically and would profit from a merger with their brothers to the south, I am not personally against it.
As for Israel, well, much worse things will happen in the near future, and it may become a new Lebanon, that is a dire prediction. but tanks with bulldozer blades are currently plowing down the palestinians and their families with no respect to old territorial boundys....
When a nation can bulldoze its own people on the premise of creating buffer zones and simplfy the process of removal, then it has set a terrible prescedent.
American wil no doubt become involved on the western shores of the middle east, or so the biblical prophecy of Megiddo is concerned.
The Russians and the Syrians will become strange bedfellows no doubt, in order to use that technology that IRAQ gave them, and those of their own origen.
I am not bragging, but I haven't been off the mark yet...
America has no idea what is in store for it in the next 25 years...
