Microsoft Download Servers
I've got to admit i now loathe Microsoft download servers with a passion now. I noticed that my download speed decreased by .1 kb/s every second...
Take my SP2 download for instance (I managed to get back on XP With the help of a friend with a few genuine keys  ), it started at about 300 kb/s, estimated to finish in about 10 minutes.I came back 10 minutes later and my download had dropped to literally 20 kb/s it was dropping even as i watched it... Now i've installed "Downthemall!" for FF and it's downloading at about 125+ kb/s and it should be done in about 20 minutes, and i really need SP2 so i can install Windows Live Messenger, WMP11 and a bunch of other stuff i need. Pah, such a shame MS's download servers suck for large files when they make such quality stuff

Perhaps just unlucky day? I don't remember ever downloading something from Microsoft at a low speed.
