There ain't no rules against short posts, and enthusiasm isn't a bad thing. Everyone of his posts has been on-topic and I think he's just trying to add his own unique perspective to this place, so anyone who wants to hit him is gonna have to go thru me. Does the average american know anything about this World Cup as the USA actually seems to be playing well for a change?

Why not? Without drugs we wouldn't have 99% of the music around today. Here's some prominet artists who've sampled various drugs

1950's : Elvis
1960's : Beatles, Doors
