dude, i AM the dumbass stick. i fucked around with my computer for hours, even lost a night's sleep, and what i needed was one of the files i downloaded before even INSTALLING xp. i guess i could go out trying for a darwin award

The worst thing was, and after all these years on forums..you make a mile long rant and don't even include the motherboard brand

I flashed the 1009 Bios on my old A7v133 before I sold it and if knew could have helped you much quicker..
