There really is no point in arguing this, because the nay-sayers are, for once, correct. The Tbred is a failure as far as thermals are concerned. It really is a case of AMD being its own worst enemy. They've become so good at making their die so small that, while the chip produces marginally less heat, that heat is much more difficult to dissapate.
The solution? Use a HSF combo that has been approved for use on a TBred (the AMD stock cooler, perhaps?). As time goes on, we will see more efficient HSF designs that will allow you to better cool TBreds. Eat, drink, and be merry. That is all. |
