yup... it's most likely real..

there are thousands of cases like that...

Even stupid drug related charges in which people caught with a minor amount of MJ or whatever.. have been sentenced to more time in prison sharing the same cell with prisoners that commited murder or was part of something more violent...

it's royally screwed up.
