Heres some ammuntion for us PC guys...

http://homepage.mac.com/murbot/iMovieTheater20.html
Watch the video, then read.

Theres a few things I knotice about this kid. He has a very extrvagant house. (probably the least of his offenses) He has one of those fake dogs. If you want a dog, get a real dog, not a cat wannabe. He gets driven home, which likely means that he goes to a pricate school. His mom owns a SUV, with of the the little expensive useless options, that someone like her will never EVER use. (You can tell by how clean everything in the house and car is kept, she would be too scared to go off roading for the fear of dirt) This kid is one of those pathetic kids that has his parents do everything for him. He can not survive in the real world. Hes not smart, hes very flimsy. (He looks like he weighs 80 pounds) There are people at my school that get mocked for being so weak that I know could easily kick this guys ass.

Heres some more stuff I though of as I was typing it: His mom seems overly concerned about him. She says "what are you doing?" when its obvious that hes not doing anything wrong. My dad sometimes goes away for a few days, and just leaves a note on the chalkboard saying he went out for a few days, not even saying where. I'm perfectly fine with it, but I'm sure a kid like this could ot handle it what so ever.

I loath him so much.

..... strangely... although i didn't take offence from what you said, my mother..... ownz a SUV... a very expensive fully loaded one.... considering it's a Suberban..... the sucker is clean as a whistle and so is the house.....not to mention that our house is located in a place that new yorkers would consider multimillion dollar lots...and the house expensive... she always was asking what i was doing when....i was obvisously doing something or....nothing... And regretably...i've been brought up that way... HOWEVER, there is no way i was driven from school....or to... no way i would get that kind of computer.... no way anything

Notice how his only point was a stable OS. And just that OS X was so cool. Lamers.

Mac OS X is actually pretty cool, but that kid is certainly not going to sell many of those machines after watching that ........ I was kind of hoping the fedex guy was going to drop the box on him after he opened the door.

I wouldnt knock OS X, its the first mac OS that has protected memory, ive been using them since 1989 and if you have experienced as many crashes as ive seen with OS 6/7/8/9 while using an app which takes down all the other apps with important documents in the background you would be glad to see something like X. (when of course they decide to release working drivers for high end scanners etc).

But its amusing to me, how someone as clearly uneducated as this kid who shows no programs, nothing running that cant be done on a PC rig, just quotes the old "its stable, buy one"............ of course in the days of windows 9x this was true, but Win NT/2000/XP/2003 all have fully protected memoy/multitasking, just like OS X.

Its not meant to be taken this seriously, as his facial expressions would indicate ........... but arent they pretty colours

why did i just now sit and watch that? That was a complete waste of my time. I figured that around the end it would fade out/in saying "1 month later" and then the kid would say "I hate the mac!!! Nothing runs on it the only game is chess and did i mention i can't run anything?

Hmm....I'm not sure.....but I think that kid got himself a Mac Computer. I'm so happy for him. Aren't you? Obviously he's very happy about it. Until he realises that he won't find much software for it, that is.

Moral? A computer with no software will not crash.

This is the first time I have ever seen this, and sure enough it will be the last.

Mac's really are not all that bad...if you only do music, photo, and video editing. Heck, isn't Adobe going to stop making versions of Photoshop to run on Mac's? Wasn't that the god program for them? I know them from the Pro Tools side, but honestly there is other options that do the same job just as well and cheaper. We should make up another video, saying looky we have two PC's, one w/ Windows, and the other with a Linux Distro. Amazing enough the same price as the Mac itself, and their faster and can do more. Opps I better hurry up and type this my PC might crash at any moment. If it did it would be it's way of telling me to piss off for making it have fire even one single gate to process that stupid movie.

That kid needs help.

I used macs for years and one thing they are not is stable. XP is as stable if not more than OS X. Besides, if he based his purchase (which was probably around $2000) on the the fact that his new, "mac," had OS X it seems to me he waisted a lot of money. Why not buy a G3 and load OS X on it? It would have saved him a lot of money. This begs the question: is the only reason people still buy macs for OS X and the way the case looks?

Everytime I see your Avatar..........I always wondered who the hell you were beating the shit out of..........

NOW I KNOW!!!

It was the spoiled brat with no brain. Keep in mind guys, it isn't what you own, it is how you raise your kids!! Bad parents are bad parents no matter how much money you have or dont have. And he should of spent his "parents" money on either a Alienware or Falcon Northwest computer, or get a brain and build his own.

Macs were made by "baby boomers' that did drugs in the 60's for baby boomers that did drug's in the 60's!! That is why the Mac's look so damn "COSMIC" and "COLORFUL"

Right when I saw him acting like an idiot and trying to formulate humor by yelling and editing his voice to sound like a monster..I wanted to beat the living shit out of this kid.

Macs are total shit.

Then they have to add that crappy SOAD band in the background. What a way to grab your customers. I don't think too many people with a brain and knowledge about pc hardware will buy into this lump of communist crap.

I can't believe I installed Quicktime for this crap. I'm not even done with the video and I'm already pissed.

Look at this imbecile showing off the mouse like it's the next messiah.

See, the thing that makes me sad is that money proves to make even the ones unworthy seem worthy. Meaning, this guy seems like an annoying little brat with 0% wit and about 0% common sense. I mean, look at how he yells too, over a pc. I was happy when I bought my Dell 8250, but I didn't yell like a caveman and take a video of myself with no points at all to buy it other than because some stupid black-eyed pre-adolesent kid with peach fuzz mustache, told me too. Yes, I'm going to get myself a Mac just because some little annoying parasite of a kid told me to get it. How stupid is that? And did Apple actually promote this? Man, if so, their ideas for promoting their products have gone down a lot. Almost as much as a Pine Sol commercial. I mean, he's a shit head yes..but at least he could have mentioned the features that makes it "so big" I mean look at him, he said he liked the monitor (which was 2 as small at my 18' flat panel). That's stupid, why the hell would you buy something just because it looks good? Sure, that's one of the main factors, but quiality goes in with it too. I mean, that's like some girl buying the new Radeon chipsit just because the box had a rainbow on it.

You know what would have been funny? If the FED Ex guy was the Unibomber and just unloaded a clip from a M4 Assault Rifle on the kid and yelled to the mother "DON'T YOU EVER BUY ANOTHER MAC AGAIN, YA HEAR?!"

Back in the day before I had a pc, (my old one in my mother's bedroom) and before I cared about pcs..I always wanted a Mac JUST because of the way it looked. Not that I'm a hypocrite, I just liked the ones in the school until they messed up after a storm. But then again, I used to choose console over pc which is why I was probably more towards a Mac. I also didn't know about the OS stuff. I thought Macs were top of the line.

Did anyone take this move for what it actually was... something funny? Sure he was advertising a Mac but with the dramatic music playing in the background? How cheesily hilarious!
