My only suggestion would be to exclude the "you get my point" part as ByteMe is a bit more pig-headed stubborn about NOT getting people's point if he doesn't want to than your average cinder-block with a short attention span. I'd just keep it nice, simple, on-target, and rude and he might be able to "get it".

I was just saying . . . my CPU is like 3x faster than his, but he still gets 10% higher score just because he has a GF3Ti200!!!?!!?!?!?!?!!!?!??!@*#%*@%#!?!!

I have told you, my friend has 256Ram, i810 and 933Mhz PIII CuMine... etc and only 550 3Dmarks.
3Dmark is generally about graphic card (and doesn't need to look like real life preformerance).

Dunno, upgraded from 29.42s to the 40.72s....from what I hear are the only 40.xx drivers that actually work properly if installed properly.

Actually never used neither of 40.xx's, I am ATI user. But, from what I heard they have some problems with fillrate if I remember.

I can attest to that, and also to the fact that 3DMark 2k1 is not really a good measure of gaming performance. My system scores 10,500 to 10,700 with the 40.xx drivers but in Island Thunder, can't manage to maintain 40FPS at 1024x768x32 on some of the maps. I guess that just goes to show that theory doesn't always relate to real world performance. It is still an excellent tool for monitoring the way different tweaks and drivers effect the graphics subsystem, but I don't think I would ever base a buying decision on a 3DMark score. Wouldn't it be cool if you could try out all your favorite games on a new card BEFORE you actually had to pay for it? Just my $.02

I have once been in Austria in Villach in one shop, they have a lot of hardware that you can actually see working (especially consoles, notebooks and monitors).

But I really doubt that you can see a card running games before you buy it.
