What do you think? Are Durons good processors?

I have a 1.3 GHz duron and i think it runs fuckin fine for everything i do. And all of you fuckers that hate durons can go suck Intels processor's dicks... ok that made no sense but fuck you anyway. And i've seen a bunch of you putting down durons when you have fucking 700 MHz Athlons. Durons are good processors (the fast ones) and if you can't fuckin see that then go fuck yourself! And to this one guy in the section ("People with piece of shit rigs posting them in their signatures") that said "people with durons/celerons need to get off their asses and get some work", i do fuckin work, but im 15 and i have to mow lawns and do other work to get my crap. And why dont you fuckin tell us your rig huh? to embarrased?

I had a 800 duron but now a 1.4 Athlon, so can't really compare them because of the clock speed but the duron i always liked and it did the job on my student budget.

The Duron is a great piece of hardware. It's great for everything, doesn't underperform the Athlon by much, and is so cheap they practically give it away. I like 'em a lot, particularly the 1+GHz Morgans.

I had a 650 duron that overclocked to just shy of 1 ghz without much more then a little extra cooling. It was a screamer, and at the time the price was right. It shook up Intel enough to lower prices on the Celeron faster and push the bus speed up as well. For the money, it's quite a deal

Damn, I think you put us all at risk of second hand idiocy. Save your money a bit longer and get something faster. Durons are good for the money, but if that is all the money you got then I'd suggest upgrading your house from the cardboard box.

I have a p3 and used to own a celly, so I couldn't tell... But does this Duron thing really mow lawns that ****ing fine?

My brother has Duron 700 and it works OK, now he is going to get 1200 one...
Definitly good processors, beat Intel Cellys at all speeds.

Durons are good processors, but I have to say in my opinion the bargain of the decade is one of those new Rev B 1600XPs.... they overclock easily to 2100XP speeds ... and all for $50 delivered in the USA.

Fast processor for a nights boozing money ..... which reminds me ......

Durons are sh1t proccesors for really poor people that think the need the newest sh1t on the market and can't afford real hardware... you all probably have replaced your durons before they blew, but believe me they will. Get a real cpu and quit playing with yourselves.
