NVIDIA OR ATI, WHICH SUCKS????

Not only do you respond to my statements (which, by the way, is commenting on a topic unrelated to the actualy topic of this thread), but you also fail to answer the question as well! The topic of this thread is "NVIDIA OR ATI -- WHICH SUCKS?" Your post was a mere wishy-washy, half-assed "I like ATi because ATi is cheap and cause they got a good product coming up! Honest, they do!" You didn't say "NVIDIA SUCKS!" so I think you, sir, are wholly unqualified to tell me I am off-topic. It is only fair.

From your post, I can only assume that you are incapable of expressing a real solid opinion. You basically say that my opinions are worthless AND that nobody cares about them, yet you seem to care enough to reply. I am truly flattered.

At any rate, both Nvidia and ATI are going to be SCHOOLED by Parhelia if rumors prove to be even partially accurate...

Pete, I mean this in the most offensive way possible but your 3DMark score is kind of low. (Maybe make your RAM settings more aggressive?) Killer PC, but I get 7200 in 3DMark and my video card is an o/ced Ti200. You cannot tell me that a R8.5K is cheaper than a Ti200. I'm sorry, but if a Radeon 8.5K can't even compete with a Ti500 (essentially what my card is o/ced to..) then what makes anyone think it can perform alongside a GF4? The mind boggles.

And 3DFX was lame and I'm glad they died. I mean, they did great things for PC 3D acceleration, no doubt, but their strategy and technology for the Voodoo5s was absolutely ridiculous. Firstly, everyone accuses Nvidia of being all brute force and shit, but ain't NOTHING more brute force than simply adding GPU upon GPU! And 3DFX was being stupid about it, too. Anyone remember the SIZE of the V5K? Good God in heaven -- card's haven't been that large in a long time! And the ridiculousness that was the V5K was far surpassed by the travesty they called a V6K! FOUR GPUS?! AN EXTERNAL POWERSOURCE? I'm sorry, but thank God for Economic Darwinism -- that company deserved to go under. Fools.

And would you dumbassed ATi fans stop beating the fuckin' Image Quality drum? If you actually did care about picture quality, you'd have a Matrox. END OF STORY.
