hey people say theyve made guilds in games all over all sorts of forums. i dont see why this is really different. Sure there are lots of "just gaming" guilds out there. But there are also asian guilds, black guilds, christian guilds, jewish guilds, and other specific guilds out there on the net. This isnt really any different when you think about it.

I also wouldnt say im a newbie around here. just look at my join date. If the mods dont like this thread, theyll lock it i realize that. But as I said, people talk about starting a guild or clan all the time on message boards, its happened many times on dh forums and nobody has said anything before.

Ive seen so many forums on the net lately where liberals are literally talking about physical violence against republicans after this last election. This is what gave me the idea for all this ID MUCH RATHER WARS WERE FOUGHT IN VIDEO GAMES. I'm hoping we can use that anger a bit more constructively in gaming rather than in hurting someone. I really hope we help some people. There are a lot upset right now. This country does need healing of sorts right now. I'm hoping this outlet helps release some liberal anger w/o harm to anyone =D.

sorry no matter how much you may pipe dream, "real wars" will never be fought in video games. the othey thing that will ever come close is a remote controled plane / robot being used in a real war killing real people.....

Thier angry becouse they got put in thier place by the magority
thier canidate lost, they lost important seats in the senate, and ballot inititives went the other way (then what they wanted).

Moved to the FW, this personal insult crap doesn't belong here. Beyond that, don't advertise personal sites around here; in general, we frown on it, since ad revenue is the only thing that keeps the site owner from having to pay for bandwidth out of pocket in the thousands.

i can respect the ad revenue thing. i have driverheaven listed as one of the favorite sites on the front page, hopefully that helps a tiny bit with some of that ad revenue, its well deserved

I guess a guild/clan for liberals would be ok, but I sure wouldn't want to play against them.

Just as soon as ya started whupping their asses, they would all start crying about how 'mean spirited' you are and start calling you names. I'm assuming that they probably wouldn't want to keep score anyway tho, cause "we wouldn't want to hurt anyone's self-esteem".

Oh dang, I forgot...I'm a DUMB CONSERVATIVE, and I'm probably not smart enough to play one of those games anyway.

I don't know how it all works. Games are not a big thing for me. But it seems to be the only way to resolve this.

im really blown away by how offended some people seem to be by a bunch of democrats and liberals that also just happen to be gamers might wanna hang out with each other. thats all we are. nobody here, certainly not me is calling anyone anything if you think i am you got me all wrong and if i have PLEASE point out where i did so.



as far as gaming against gop gamers, i think it would be fun, and hell no i wouldnt cry, and i certainly wouldnt get all wuss about name calling ive done my share of "wow i just made you my bitch" on servers. hell, i did that just today over on the cain's lair ut2k4 server.

all this passion, all this tention being let out in this thread shows me that there definetly is a need for this sort of organization, on both sides of the political fence.
