- didn't increase a national debt by billions (Dubya)
- am not accused of a corruption scandal involving kickbacks to family members through UN contracts (Annan)
- am still alive (Tilman)
- can play HL2 for up to 30 minutes consecutively w/o getting motion sick

I'll looking for someone to second my motion...

PS I already have an express ticket to hell due to other cold-hearted jokes posted on FARK.com, so I didn't bat an eye on the Tilman comment.

I second the motion for Ubergrendle for Person of the Year. He has extensive technical knowledge and a good sense of humor; which is more than I can say for any of the other candidates.

I was however subject to the draft back in 1964. I chose to enlist in the USAF, and served from 64-68. How about you? Will you be willing to serve your country like I have mine. Please understand that this is the FLAME WAR ZONE, and pretty much 'anything goes'. Feel free to check out my posts in the Political Forum, and you will see that I conduct myself quite differently there as opposed to here.

Verbage such as I used here is allowed, if not expected, and if you notice the 'sticky' at the top of the threads, there is even a 'Hall of Flame' where some of the more creative 'insults' are posted.

Battleaxe and I have had more than one disagreement here, but he's a 'big boy', and even though we disagree a lot, I respect him for being to take my abuse without whining about it, just as I take his. Actually, should Battleaxe and I ever happen to run into each other in RL, I'd be more than happy to go off to the local Bar/Pub and share a brew or two with him, where we would more than likely still disagree about 'things polotical', yet still laugh about some of the things that we have posted here.
